Special thanks to Sri Narayanan Chettiar, S/O Sri Chokkiah Chettiar for giving us Smt. D K Pattammal's recordings from his personal collection.

This website would not have been possible at all if not for the seed of thought sowed by Smt. Gayathri Sundararaman, first Granddaughter of Smt D K Pattammal and daughter of Sri Sivakumar and Smt Lalitha Sivakumar. Smt. Gayathri Sundararaman's untiring efforts of coordinating resource persons and collecting information, photographs, digging through the archives capturing information on the various aspects of Smt DKP’s musical journey, literally walking through her memory lanes to capture all the bends and turns in her dear grand mother’s journey to reach the pinnacle of glory deserves a special mention. She has meticulously worked through the details of the website, putting a lot of thought into the structure and contents. It is her hard work and sincerity that has resulted in the website taking shape to this form.

Many family members deserve sincere words of gratitude in contributing in different ways for the building up of this website. Sri I. Sivakumar, eldest son of Smt. DKP for sharing his experiences on stage with Smt. DKP, Smt. Lalitha Sivakumar, daughter-in law of Smt. DKP and wife of Sri Sivakumar, for sharing her experiences as the co-singer with Smt. DKP. Sri Lakshman Kumar, Smt. DKP’s younger son and family for sharing the nostalgic thoughts of Smt. DKP’s musical saga. Smt. Nithyashree Mahadevan, the younger grand daughter of Smt. DKP and Kum. Lavanya Sundararaman, the torch bearers of DKP’s tradition on stage presently, added a lot of information on Smt. DKP’s popular musical numbers that won the hearts of millions of rasikas. Special mention needs to be made for the articles by Smt Nithyasree exclusively for the website including the home page. Sri, J Vaidyanathan, nephew of DKP contributed to the website on portions on the togetherness of DKP and her dear brother Sri D K Jayaraman. Many nephews and nieces of DKP contributed a lot by sharing some of the rare pictures of DKP. Lastly, this seed of idea sowed by Smt Gayathri Sundararaman, has blossomed now with the great support of her husband, Dr Sundararaman, who encouraged her to carve out this musical garden. Dr Ajay Sundararaman, gave his emotional support and stood by his dear mother to make her dream website a reality.
